This wiki was created as a component to The University of Alabama's Special Education 503 course, Master's Seminar in Special Education. Throughout this wiki site you will find information I have compiled from Chapters 3 "The argument" and 4 "The contributions from the student" of John Hattie's book, Visible Learning: A Synthesis of Over 800 Meta-Analyses Relating to Achievement (2009). My hope is that this wiki provides information that will help teachers teach in a visible manner and acknowledge and build on student contributions to the learning environment. The teacher is the greatest element for change in student learning. We can choose to make a positive difference in our students' lives and learning:):)
